The word Axiom comes from a Greek word meaning "worthy". An Axiom is a statement accepted as true as the basis for argument or inference.  As a publisher it is our mission to be a base or starting point to promote expression and to advance scholarship and lifelong learning.

Axiom Academic Publishers (Axiom AP) was founded in  2020,  after realising the need for the creation of local content and for distribution infrastructure thereof. This meant having the capability to acquire information, and also transform it into knowledge and understanding.

At Axiom AP we work closely with authors and institutions to create and develop quality study material  for the South African context.  Our goal is to  ensure that the knowledge of these authors makes an impact by distributing high quality printed educational products and books as well as eBooks to bookstores and institutions countrywide.
